Hi, everyone! I’m Sarah Jane Tamme. Having recently completed the graduate certificate in Digital Mapping, I’ve decided to now pursue the master’s degree in the New Maps Plus program. With an undergraduate degree in Secondary English Education and a Master of Science in Higher Education, I came into the program with much to learn.

Although new to many of the concepts in this program, I have thoroughly enjoyed gaining knowledge when it comes to cartography, digital mapping, geospatial data, and web programming, and I’m excited to continue this learning experience!

I currently work in admissions and student affairs for the School of Information Science at the University of Kentucky. Beyond work and school, I enjoy reading, traveling, being with friends and family, and playing/cuddling/walking/talking with my perfect pup, Winnie.
